Give me a B! Give me an L! Give me an O! Give me a G! What's that spell?? BLOG!!!
I'm happy to report that after a week of being stuck at home (due to cold weather and not having a car available...) I was finally set free this weekend. On Saturday, we dropped Keegan off at my in-laws while Nathan & I took Kennedy to the mall downtown. Here's Kennedy all bundled in her carseat and ready to go.

What we thought would be a quiet day at the mall turned into an event which I may need serious therapy for later. It was apparently the big Jam Fest.... Dance & Cheer competition downtown. Of course, the mall was shoulder to shoulder crowded with young, squealing cheerleaders. They were all wearing their curly ponytails with sparkly ribbons and had layer upon layer of glittery eyeshadow on (you know how I feel about glitter). It was about all I could take. Then, the fire alarm in the food court went off. Did I ever mention where the last place on earth I'd ever want to be was? Well, now we know... it would be a crowded food court full of squealing cheerleaders with the fire alarm going off. But, we survived and even managed to buy Nathan a fun new shirt and shoes while we were there. We've got spirit, yes we do!
Saturday night we went to my grandma's house to hang out. Here are some pics from her house below.
This is my grandma. Isn't she hip for 88? Oh, and I'm not sure why Keegan looks like a cougar. Just go with it.

This is my dad with the kids.

Here is Nathan in his cool new shirt. The picture (& my grandma's couch which distracts from the pattern) does not do it justice. I wish you could see his shoes. He's come a loooong way since his closet full of solid-colored golf shirts when we dated. Isn't he hot?

Today was my first day back at church since before Christmas. It was good to be back and Kennedy did a good job making it through the service, Sunday School time, and a pitch-in lunch. Although, I must admit getting to church was not easy. I allowed 2 hours to get Keegan, Kennedy, and me ready and I was still 20 minutes late to the service. Who knew the toilet would clog, the garage door wouldn't go down, and Kennedy would feed for 45 minutes right before it was time to get in the car? But, we made it! Next week I'll shoot for only 15 minutes late, ha! :)
Thanks for bearing with me with some of these less-exciting blogs. Hopefully I'll have something better to write about this week! Thanks for not abandoning me yet!

She coasted into the service like 5 minutes before she gave a presentation, cooly handed off the baby to a nervous Nancy :), and walked up front like it was all planned and under control.
Nobody ever knows how women like her are pillars of the community! I had to be at church even earlier than the normal worship practice time to do osme things, and she had to get everyone ready almost completely by herself. What a woman :)
On top of all that, she looked awesome!
Epic show, my dear - epic show!
