Fan Mail & Kisses!!!!!!!
Much to my delight, I found some fan mail on my porch tonight. How cool is that? Ok, so it wasn't really from a 'fan', but a friend who I love dearly and she reads my blog. I'm going to call it fan mail then. This is my blog and I can do that. So, thank you, Sarah. (By the way, if anyone else ever wants to leave gifts or fan mail on my porch, feel free. I will definitely give you a shout out on my blog and you might just become famous someday). :)
Anyway, the first surprise she left was a bag of 'limited edition' (those words get me all giddy) Candy Corn flavored Hershey Kisses. I will admit that they were cute to look at; they are actually colored like a candy corn, yellow/orange/white. I put one in my mouth. Interesting. Not great, but not bad either. Interesting enough that I'd eat a few more but not interesting enough to make me want to buy a bag. They mostly taste like pure sugar, and not necessarily 'candy corn.'
Then, for my 2nd suprise (that's right, folks.... a good fan always leaves MULTIPLE gifts on my porch). New York Cheesecake Flavored Creme Filled Hershey Kisses. These intrigued me even more. I saved them for last. First of all, she bought them in a pack like I'd never seen before (as opposed to a bag like pictured below). It had 5 kisses in a strip all wrapped up like one big candy bar. I opened the pack and was in pure bliss. They kisses were bigger than the normal ones (we all know the normal ones are way too small). And, they did not have the annoying foil on them which I appreciated. It can get into your mouth faster that way. It also allowed me to eat more in one sitting (I really need to blog about how I am supposed to be on a diet now....).
Into my mouth the first one went. It was a wonderful blend of chocolate and cheesecake. It was truly enjoyable! I highly recommend this flavor. Whoever thought to marry chocolate kisses with cheesecake is now my new friend.
