A Little Bit of Everything

Last night we tried giving Kennedy some rice cereal for the first time. Here she is in her chair about to have some. I don't think she really got much in her mouth but we'll keep trying. Today was her 4 month doc appointment. She weighed 12 lbs, 5 oz and was 24" long! That's the 25 percentile so I'm happy!
While we were at the pediatrician, I had him look at my eye. It seems that today I've developed pink eye and I'm "highly contagious." Looks like I'll be staying in this weekend... and hope the kids don't get it. It's the swollen eye on the right below. Cute, huh? (PS Aren't I brave showing a close up of all my pores?) :)

We did manage to go to the park today for a little bit. Here's Keegan enjoying himself.
And, on another random note.... I love that our tulips are all up. I love tulips. Marguerite, if you're reading this.... my baby blossoms haven't come up. I'm wondering if an animal dug them up?
Here's Keegan with our tulips. I have taken him outside every day so he's watched the whole process of them sprouting... budding.... and growing!

Hello, blog readers! I am blogging live from the hospital with Nathan as my guest blogger. If anyone is awake out there, you can feel free to check out my blog for updates throughout my hospital visit. I was having contractions at home so we were sent to the hospital around 10pm for observation. I was dilated to 3cm when I arrived. Kennedy's Corner: The BIG FIVE

Happy birthday, Kennedy!!!!      To our sweet & fun girl! She's 5 today!  She LOVES to dress up whether it's jewelry, fancy clothing, or princess stuff.   Here's her latest-- a pink fur coat and sequins skirt.   Classy! She's nurturing.  She loves playing "mommy" to her baby dolls and caring for other people.  She loves to sing ( and I mean constantly ).   She is thoughtful and compassionate and loves to pray for others.  She can be headstrong and difficult too (just like her mother) but we're working together on that!    She goes to Pre-K 5 mornings a week and loves her teacher and school.   Her favorite foods are cheese quesadillas, pepperoni, and Ritz crackers.   Her favorite show is Curious George.   She's also obsessed with dogs whether it's pretending to be one, begging us to buy one, playing with a toy one, or asking every stranger in the city if she can pet th...
