Touch N Brush: As Seen on TV
Have you seen the commercials for the revolutionary Touch N Brush? I thought this deserved its own blog post because like most 'As Seen on TV' products, I find it hilarious. It's a toothpaste tube holder that mounts to your wall and dispenses toothpaste, using a "secret vacuum force". Amazing.
Apparently, squeezing toothpaste from a tube is sooo hard that we need to buy a large wall unit to hang on our bathroom mirror. You can even get one with an 'elegant' chrome finish. This will also eliminate 'losing toothpaste tube caps'. Really? How many caps have you ever lost?? Where are you losing them? Have you just looked in the sink?
In the commercial, they show people who are super frustrated with trying to get toothpaste out of the tube. Honestly, I have been brushing my teeth for 31 years and have never had that much frustration with my toothpaste. Come on, guys, if you're having a hard time getting the very last drop of toothpaste out then it's simply time to buy a new tube. They also show people who shoot toothpaste all over the room trying to get it out of the tube. Has this ever happened to you? I'd like to hear your story.
I think what makes this so funny to me is that every family member has to stick their toothbrush up against the button to push the toothpaste out..... which means you're all swapping slobber. You might as well just all share one toothbrush.
Dear Santa.... you know what to get me now!! :)
