Limited Edition: More Of Those Smores

In preparation for our upcoming vacation, I'm in need of a bathing suit. Now, not just any bathing suit. Rather, the kind of bathing suit that fits a 31-year-old, modest, postpartum kind of stay at home mom. I know-- you're thinking what I'm thinking.... Kohl's! I've recently discovered that Kohl's actually has a department called "Stay at home moms in their 30s who clean toilets but still want to look halfway stylish". It's right between Misses and Juniors. I thought Kohls would be the place where I would find "the suit". I attempted going there today with both kids. Between changing 2 diapers, cleaning projectile spit-up, keeping my toddler from peeping at others, and feeding 2 children all in the dressing room stall....I did manage to try on some suits. But, they just weren't right.

So, tonight I tried a few more stores including Walmart since I was there anyway. Unless I want a teeny weeny bikini or low, low neckline (put it on a short person and it's waaaayyy low), they didn't have much for me. So, I walked me and my body image issues right on over to the frozen treat aisle and found me some ice cream therapy. There it was, calling my name.

LIMITED EDITION EDY'S SMORES ICE CREAM. You know I'm a sucker for Limited Edition foods. Luckily, it was the "Slow churned, rich and creamy" kind which is a sneaky way to label their 1/3 less fat ice creams. It's toasted marshmallow and light chocolate ice cream with a graham cracker swirl, marshmallows, and chocolate chips.

Overall, I'd say it's a winner! I think it needs a little something though. Next time it needs more chocolate. Maybe make up for the 1/3 less fat and eat it in an Oreo ice cream cone. Now, that's the ticket.

So, I have no bathing suit tonight except one I bought over the weekend that I'm not completely satisfied with. Although, it may not fit after all that ice cream. But, at least I found a new LIMITED EDITION food to share with my faithful blog readers!! Totally worth it.

Oh! I'm drooling right now. The ice cream looks so yummy! Have you tried JCPenny or Sears? I know this may sound crazy but, I found a very modest swimsuit last year at Target and I love it! I hate swimsuit shopping too...it's the worst! I hope you find something! :-)

I need help in this department also. Please...help! I can't wear a one piece because evidently I have a long torso (I know you can get long-torso one pieces but finding an affordable one is another story) and I don't want to scare everyone off with my double-postpartum belly. Most of the tankinies are low cut and did I mention the double-postbreastfeeding problems I have? I know TMI, I need to start my own blog and stop scarring everyone away from yours. My apologizes.
