Blogcation!

For those of you wondering why I didn't post all week, we were on a spectacular, much-needed BLOGCATION in Wisconsin. We went to the Dells, which is a tourist trap and also the waterpark capital of America.

Let me try to summarize the trip...

-9 hrs in the car because of many stops.... "Who needs to potty?" "Kennedy needs fed!" "Someone needs a diaper change!" "Is our luggage on the roof still secure?".... the kids were great in the car the whole long drive.

-Kennedy's first strides trying to crawl
-Military duck ride, which is a scenic ride through both water and land. Our duck broke down in the middle of the lake and we had to wait for a rescue duck to come and then climb from one duck to another.... with baby in hand.
-Cold (50s-60s) and rainy
-Walked downtown
-Swimming in hotel dragon pool
-Got our family pic taken (did I mention that this is our first family photo ever?!). When a tourist, do what tourists do.
-Mt Olympus indoor water park. Crazy busy since the weather was cold and rainy.
-Country Bumpkin Farmer's market
-Wisconsin State Park family hike
-Warmed up to the 70s. Great since I didn't pack enough warm clothes.
-Mt Olympus- Outdoor Theme Park.
-Amber's first go-karting
-Keegan's first time on rides.... go-karts, tea cups, bumper cars, swings, etc. He is pretty small for his age and didn't quite make the minimum height but we sneaked him on and rode with him so we could hold onto him.
-Breakfast at a fun diner, homemade cinnamon rolls
-Walked around downtown again
-Keegan pretty much potty-trained himself on our vacation (finally!!)
-Surf & Turf dinner delivered to our room
-8 hour drive back
-Stopped at the Mousehouse Cheesehaus (when in Wisconsin, buy cheese, right?). Left my wallet there. Cried. Did I mention it was a brand new Fossil wallet I bought a week ago? It also had a significant amount of cash in it. Praying an honest person picks it up.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and Keegan especially had a blast. We are exhausted but it was totally worth it!!!!!

The only way I can be unwired is to go somewhere there are no wires or wireless signals. :P
