First Fair!
As most of you already know, the fair is a big deal at our house. So, yesterday marked a major event.... the beginning of fair season!! It starts with the county fair for the county next to ours.
We usually bring the season in by watching the old 1940's musical, The State Fair. I'm sure we'll be watching it soon.
On the way to the County Fair last night, we did manage to listen to the soundtrack though which gets us all excited!
We arrived at the fair quite early so we were the first customers at many booths. We also got hit with a big storm but it was over quickly and we hung out in the 4-H building in the meantime. It cooled everything off so it was perfect.
First, we stopped at the donut booth and I had the best donut EVER. They are warm and mine had cinnamon sugar all over it. Just 75 cents. Then Nathan had a bbq pork sandwich from the 4-H booth. Then he had corn on the cob. I'm not usually one to pick pizza but this fair has the best. I got a sausage pizza and it was fabulous!! And, Keegan had his first ever ice cream cone which he ate part of. Another highlight was Nathan's sassparilla.

Kennedy's first ever fair!! First words? No biggie. First steps? Who cares? FIRST FAIR?? BIG MILESTONE:
