Lights, Lights, And More Lights
Tonight we packed the family up in the car, turned on the Christmas music, and drove around looking at Christmas lights. We drove through a lot of neighborhoods; Keegan loves all those big inflatables. There's nothing like a giant Santa riding a motorcycle on someone's roof when you're his age. Then we went downtown. There's something magical about going to Monument Circle downtown this time of year. The air was cold and crisp, the lights were strung, and horse-drawn carriages were in full swing. I love it.
We stopped at the Chocolate Cafe. I had the dark chocolate cocoa (delicious!) and Nathan tried the white chocolate cocoa. I don't think you can go wrong there.
Here's Kennedy enjoying the Chocolate Cafe:

The lights were so pretty:
And, of course, the Monument:
From underneath:
Across the street is the power & light company's building and I love their fun tree in the window:
They also create this tree display in their windows:
Keegan just loved the giant toy soldiers:
Next time I'll get a picture of some of the yards we visited. Maybe you could vote best for best yard decorations!
