14 Months

Kennedy turned 14 months old last week! Here is her latest update....

Kennedy loves to climb and will perch herself up on anything she can find. She also gets into things around the house that Keegan never touched as a baby. I often find her 'stuck' in things or wedged in between things.
Here she is stuck in a bucket yesterday:
She also responds to "no" much differently than Keegan did at that age. Actually, I use the word 'respond' pretty loosely. She doesn't respond to it at all, I'm afraid! She will usually laugh, smile, and repeat the offense again. We're working on it! :)

She loves bath time and enjoys splashing. She also loves meat. Not just any meat, but cheap, processed meat like bologna and hotdogs. Her favorite foods are meatballs, pizza, kiwi, and spaghetti.

I'm not sure how much she weighs but at her 1 year appointment she was 17 lbs 7 oz. So, she's probably close to 20lbs by now, I would think. She'll get weighed next month at the doctor's office.
Her only real words are ma-ma, da-da (or daddy sometimes), and uh-oh! She's also been walking since around 11 months.... so really she's at running speed now. She does not like being in her stroller so this means a lot of chasing these days.

Kennedy has brought so much joy to our house. She has a sweet disposition and loves to smile.

She's such a cutie! I can't believe how much different she looks than last time I saw her. We need to get her and Ella together!

Such a sweet little girl. We need to get the girls together. What I want to know is how long did you leave her in the bucket, while you got the perfect picture? Regardless, it was well worth it. That picture is priceless!

Hello, blog readers! I am blogging live from the hospital with Nathan as my guest blogger. If anyone is awake out there, you can feel free to check out my blog for updates throughout my hospital visit. I was having contractions at home so we were sent to the hospital around 10pm for observation. I was dilated to 3cm when I arrived. They made me walk two 40-minute rounds which felt like a marathon for me. I didn't have any shoes on and got to wear a super cute hospital gown though. Essentially, I'm here for false labor. At the Hospital- LIVE UPDATES!

Hello, blog readers and random internet stalkers! I've opened today's blog to keep you up to date on my labor progress as it occurs. Nathan is going to be my guest blogger today and will add info as he can if I'm unavailable.... so check back often for continuous updates throughout the day! 8:00am I have my IV's in which took forever and 2 nurses because they had problems with my veins 8:30 They started the Pitocin (drug to start contractions). 9:30 I'm now contracting now and waiting around for them to get bigger. 9:35 Nathan is pacing. 10:15 Nathan here Amber's contractions are picking up. She's starting to feel some pain, but barely. There is a well worn path between her bed and the bathroom. It seems the IV is dripping direcly into her bladder 10:30 Nurse Nathan is taking good care of me. He's in charge of unplugging my IVs when I have to pee, pushing my IV cart around, and then putting my blood pressure cuff back on. Ok, so he got the ...
