Easter Outfits: Photo Frenzy!
I put both kids in their Easter outfits today in hopes of getting their picture. It wasn't easy and it wasn't pretty. I'm not really satisfied with any of them but it's better than nothing, right!? Maybe I'll try again on Easter day.
Here are the best of the worst. Here's Keegan in his Gap outfit I "won" on ebay. Don't you love how we say "won" instead of "bought"? I like to feel like a winner.
I should mention that Keegan squints in any and all outdoor settings. He is always complaining that outside is too bright as if he's been locked in the attic all winter. I promise he wasn't. Or, was he? You'll never know.

Open your eyes! Open your eyes!
Kennedy is at that age where she won't sit still so you have to try for 'action shots'. No spectacular pics, but look how cute her dress is. It's really about the dress, right?

I like this one:
Frozen expression, but look at her dress...
"Mommy, really- I just want to climb this tree instead.".....
Then we attempted the ultimate double dog dare.... a photo of BOTH kids in the SAME photo, perhaps even looking in the same general direction. Was I crazy to even try it? Yes, I was.
Here we have one looker, one non-looker. That's usually the case:
"Kennedy! Kennedy! Look over here!" I sang. I danced. I wore bunny ears. I made animal noises and clapped. No such luck with getting her to look my way. She's seen it all before.
Keegan would not only like her to look, but smile too. This made me laugh:
Playtime!
I think my favorites sometime involve the kids from the back. Cute and nobody has to smile!
They'll be dressed up again on Easter Sunday so we'll probably try again. Until then!
