The Big Reveal: Teal Dresser

I found a strong, hunky man (aka Nathan) to help carry in my new teal dresser tonight.

It's a little cluttered with my treasures but I'll move stuff around once I have more shelves up. I'll also be hanging goodies on the wall above it.

I love Nancy's comment about distressing it. Anyone volunteer to come over and do that for me? I promise food and lots of publicity for you on my blog.

Ok, again, here's the before photo of my front room:
Here's the before photo of my cheap ($30) Goodwill dresser:
And, voila! Here's the after:
I had to crop this photo so you couldn't see Kennedy throwing a tantrum on the ground on the other side of that gate. Really, my kids are perfect.

What do you think?

I love it, Amber! Great job on all of the remodeling! BTW, your kids aren't the only ones that through tantrums. :) I wished we lived closer.

Love it, love it, love it! If I were in town, I'd come over tomorrow and help you "distress" it. Also, I would have liked to have seen the picture with Kennedy throwing a temper tantrum! Makes it more real! :-)

Adore it, AND the treasures on top. Where are you finding all these fun, antique accessories, and can I come with you next time you go? They are just the type of thing I've been looking for to fill in our built-in bookshelves!

Very cute!! Great job :) I think it would be really cute if you changed out the knobs. They have them anywhere, but they have REALLY cute ones at Anthropologie, have you seen them? I've also heard Tru Value has a good selection for maybe a little cheaper!
