Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts.... Oh, Yes!

Our house is big on Pop Tarts. They are especially great with Keegan's food issues because they are high in calories and they expose him to a variety of flavors.

So... in 2008 I actually sent Kelloggs an email suggesting limited edition holiday Pop-Tarts. It was another one of my 'great inventions'. I specifically suggested spice flavored ones or pumpkin for the fall. I was very happy to find the Christmas Gingerbread ones after that. I'm sure Mr. Kellogg himself was reading my email.

Well, today at Target I found these......
PUMPKIN PIE POP TARTS. That's right! They're in the Halloween section (not the regular food aisle where the normal flavors are).
They have a white dough with pumpkin pie filling and white frosting with fall sprinkles. 12 toaster pastries for $2.99. I'm pretty sure lives have been changed.

So, how do they taste? Very good. I'm giving these 4 out of 5 waves of grain. They really do taste like pumpkin pie. I did, however, think that they could use more pumpkin and less crust taste. The pumpkin to crust ratio needs some adjusting. They're a winner at our house though! In fact, maybe I'll take these to Thanksgiving dinner instead of pie. Any takers??

Hello, blog readers! I am blogging live from the hospital with Nathan as my guest blogger. Kennedy's Corner: The BIG FIVE

Happy birthday, Kennedy!!!!      To our sweet & fun girl! She's 5 today!  She LOVES to dress up whether it's jewelry, fancy clothing, or princess stuff.   Here's her latest-- a pink fur coat and sequins skirt.   Classy!
