Pregnancy Update: 36 1/2 Weeks
Just a quick pregnancy update!
Yesterday was my 36 1/2 week appointment. Here are some recent highlights.
1). Peeing into a small cup should be getting easier..... but it's not
2) I'm dilated to 2 1/2 cm which could mean nothing.... or something
3. I never can remember whether it's 'dilated' or 'dialated.'.
3) They want to induce me because I've been known to go into labor very quickly and suddenly once I reach a certain point (I pushed for under 3 minutes with Kennedy.... need I say more?). However, hospital policy will not allow them to schedule an induction prior to me being 39 weeks pregnant. Therefore, I am scheduled for induction on Tues, March 8th...... but there is a good chance I won't make it that long
4) There is no such thing as modesty at the OB/GYN's office when it comes to having your 3rd baby.
5) I'm so swollen that I can no longer fit into my wedding ring. Unmarried & knocked up...... I feel so scandalous when I go out.
6) I'm also so swollen that as of today I can no longer fit into my shoes. Praise God for 2 pairs of $1.99 Goodwill shoes I found today to get me through the next few weeks.
So, the countdown begins. 20 days.... or less. Let's hope for LESS!
Again, we plan to BLOG the birth from the hospital (with live updates) if possible so check in!
