More New Inventions

I've been thinking up some new inventions. Let me know if these are Shark Tank worthy (love that show!).

1) Dry erase headboard. This has to be my favorite. I always have good thoughts when I go to bed or even in the middle of the night. What if our beds had a headboard that was dry-erase? I'd write down facebook status ideas, honey-do lists, groceries I need to buy. You name it!
2) Baby bottle with temperature reading.
The formula companies want you to throw away formula after it's sat out for an hour. How about going by temperature instead and having either bottles with a temperature gauge, OR some type of thermometer that clips onto bottles and you can transfer it from bottle to bottle. I'm sure we'd be able to keep formula longer instead of throwing it out just to be safe!
3) Designer toilets. Why do toilets have to be white? Why not coordinate them with your shower curtain or wallpaper? They would look clean longer if they had colorful designs inside and out. No more white toilets!

4) Calculator Carts. How about grocery carts that have a scanner attached to it. You can scan your items as you put them in the cart so you always have a running total of your purchases. And, if you want to save time at checkout-- you can use your total to pay instead of ringing up again.
5) Lazy Susan Fridge. I know I mentioned this on Facebook once, but I'm not sure if it ever made it to my blog. How about a fridge that has a lazy susan in the middle instead of shelves? You'll never lose that jar of mayo in the back of the fridge again! I think I'm onto something!

love love love your ideas!! You should totally go on Shark Tank:) That's my favorite show right now!! The dry erase head board is a great idea! No more forgetting or getting out of bed, finding pen and paper and writing things down - no, that's a huge drag! Way easier to have it right there at the head of your bed:) ~Missy

You crack me up. I told Rusty about your lazy susan fridge idea while we were searching for the cream cheese for about 5 minutes this morning :) He thought it was a great idea!

Good ideas. You know, they've already invented the shopping cart scanner thing, but I've only seen it on shows like Modern Marvels-Grocery stores or things like that. Never in our great state. Maybe you could get that going?

Hello, blog readers! I am blogging live from the hospital with Nathan as my guest blogger. If anyone is awake out there, you can feel free to check out my blog for updates throughout my hospital visit. I was having contractions at home so we were sent to the hospital around 10pm for observation. I was dilated to 3cm when I arrived. They made me walk two 40-minute rounds which felt like a marathon for me. I didn't have any shoes on and got to wear a super cute hospital gown though. Essentially, I'm here for false labor. But, they are afraid to send me home because of how quickly I go into labor so I'm staying to be induced. ---- This is Nathan - it's 2:11 AM. Amber just got her epidural. She's at 4 cm. Kennedy's Corner: The BIG FIVE

Happy birthday, Kennedy!!!!      To our sweet & fun girl! She's 5 today!  She LOVES to dress up whether it's jewelry, fancy clothing, or princess stuff.   Here's her latest-- a pink fur coat and sequins skirt.   Classy! She's nurturing.  She loves playing "mommy" to her baby dolls and caring for other people.  She loves to sing ( and I mean constantly ).   She is thoughtful and compassionate and loves to pray for others.  She can be headstrong and difficult too (just like her mother) but we're working together on that!    She goes to Pre-K 5 mornings a week and loves her teacher and school.   Her favorite foods are cheese quesadillas, pepperoni, and Ritz crackers.   Her favorite show is Curious George.   She's also obsessed with dogs whether it's pretending to be one, begging us to buy one, playing with a toy one, or asking every stranger in the city if she can pet th...
