From Diva To Dugout

We enrolled Keegan & Kennedy in baseball this season.  Keegan has done this before so it's old hat for him.

This is Kennedy's first time and I have the privilege of taking her.

The first practice was cold.  I mean winter coats and gloves kind of cold.
She's the one in pink doing her stretches:

They mostly just did practice drills on the tennis courts (the fields were too wet).  Kennedy was shy and just barely participated.

Her 2nd practice she spent with her baseball mitt directly over her face, avoiding baseball almost entirely.  I regret not taking pictures.

Then, yesterday was her first game.  They played indoors due to the rain.  She was excited to get a t-shirt and hat!

Out of nowhere, she was a good hitter and stopped the ball several times to get kids out (well, technically kids in toddler t-ball can't get out...).   She played aggressively and even slid into the bases (yes, every base.... every time).   The coach asked if she'd been watching baseball this week because she did so well; we didn't know what came over her!

Diva one minute, now dugout the next!!   Go, Reds!!!
