Christmas In August: Gift Ideas #6-10
Here's the 2nd installment of 2011's Christmas Gift Ideas!
Again, the first five ideas are here: LINK.
Here are the next five ideas!
6. Breakfast Theme Gift-- I love all the breakfast stuff at Williams Sonoma (Link). I think it would be fun to combine some of these and give a breakfast theme gift to a family.
Pancake molds (everything from jungle animals to Star Wars). ($18-20)

Pancake pen ($10). You'll want this to help fill in the crevices in the molds.
Pancake & waffle mixes ($9-12). Several varieties to choose from.
The sky's the limit with a breakfast theme. We even recently saw Red Velvet pancake mix at Old World Market. Yum.
7. Robot Magnet Scene - How fun would this be for the child in your life? And, it's quiet... and doesn't require batteries. Score!
There are 35 magnets and 4 scene backgrounds for a child to be imaginative with. Available at Pottery Barn Kids (LINK) or Amazon (LINK) for $14.42. They also have other versions-- monsters, princess, mermaid, ballerina, pirates, horse stables, Marvel Heroes, and more!
8. Calling Cards. I love the idea of Mommy Calling Cards. I use mine often. Just go to etsy.com and search "Mommy Calling Cards" (LINK) and a wide variety will come up (all different prices). You can put as much or as little info on the cards; I've seen some that are as simple as a name and phone number.
Here are mine from a seller on Etsy called Zoopri (I've blackened out my personal info):
9. Schooner Beer Glasses. These are for the man in your life. Set of 2 for $11.98 at World Market (LINK). They are heavy glass. Include a case of fun drinks. And, if you're like me and not a beer-drinker, you can use them for a pretty parfait.
10. Real Simple Magazine subscription. I'm a fan of magazines and this one is great for just about any woman. It's full of practical tips for cooking, decorating, using products, and so forth. The price varies so keep watching their website. I often get a good deal around Christmas where you buy one gift subscription, get one free (so I send one to myself).
If I can pull it off, I hope to provide 5 more ideas on the 25th of every month.... leading up to Christmas! This will give you 25 total ideas!
Merry Christmas in August!! We'll continue on September 25th with 5 more amazing ideas!
