Circus, Circus!!

I had the opportunity to drive and chaperone for Kennedy's preschool circus trip last week. We had a great time and I learned a few things.  Here were my top lessons learned: 1.  Not all kids think you're a cool mom and want to ride in your van.  In fact, some might throw a fit about how they are stuck with you.... and you're going to have flashbacks of being picked last in gym class as a child. 2.  If you give preschoolers capri suns at the beginning of the circus, plan on spending the remainder of the circus juggling kids in the bathroom. 3.  If you take two kids you don't know to the bathroom, hold their hands tight .  They might try to take off running in opposite directions.  It is very hard to catch kids at a circus .  4.  Be prepared for when two kids go into the bathroom stalls and refuse to come out. Spring Break: Photo Friday!

Image
We're wrapping up our week long spring break.   Here it is in photos!! Easter!  He is Risen!   A special date with just Keegan and Kennedy (while Savannah was in childcare so we could do "big kid" stuff!): First stop, McDonalds: Next stop, the paint-your-own pottery place.  Keegan painted an angry bird.    Kennedy painted a unicorn..... and used about a thousand paint brushes . And, a quick stop at Trader Joe's.   A little shopping cart driver's Ed: And, nothing says spring break like a visit from our friend, Michele!!! All followed by a dose of the stomach flu for Savannah. Lucky for you, that's where the photos stop.  Happy spring break!
